Learn the basics of drumming with Shirley McClure. Shirley has been drumming for 30 years. During that time she practiced many styles: West African drumming from Fred Simpson, Afro-Cuban with John Santos, Middle Eastern, Congolese from Sandor. She had the honor of traveling to Japan with the prestigious Kodo drummers when she studied Taiko. Shirley studied drum circle facilitation with Arthur Hull and frame drumming with Miranda Kondeau. Shirley’s wish is to bring the healing power of the drum to this community. (class size limited, must sign up on website / drums will be provided if you do not own one.)
